I am a nut for that kind of stuff. I like that these pieces are one-of-a-kind and that I won’t see them in anyone else’s house. I bought three of your Steel Drum CD’s. What fun! What a delightful store! I have been to many, many furniture stores in this area and I can honestly say that The Flamingo’s Nest is by far the most unique. What a talent the owners have for layout and putting things together. Now I’m inspired to redo a couple of the rooms in my condo. I also have to comment on how friendly the staff is. They were so nice and so helpful. I didn’t feel pressured in any way, but they were always close by in case I had a question. I had a really nice shopping experience and I will be sure to let all my friends know about this gem of a store.

Nicki, thanks again to you and Darrell for all your help in decorating our home on the bay! We were so relieved to have walked into your store after searching everywhere in Southwest Florida for quality coastal furnishings at an affordable price! You and Darrell listened to our thoughts, looked at pictures of our space and made suggestions that were perfect. Your flare for coastal design, quality product and excellent service has made our house a home. Needless to say, we were delighted to look no further!

Unbelievable!!! There is no other store in the area like The Flamingo’s Nest (other than Pelican Cottage your other store). We couldn’t wait to see what you had created and we sure weren’t disappointed. Your displays are incredible, the colors are so sunny, bright and cheerful and the furniture is beautiful. You guys are so talented. We plan to stop by often to see what new and exciting things you have in store for us.

Congratulations on your new store. I don’t know how you guys do it. What a lot of work and what a transformation! Walking into the store for the first time was so much fun. Our experience with The Flamingo’s Nest and Pelican Cottage has been nothing short of fantastic.  We own or manage a couple dozen vacation rental units on Siesta Key and we are constantly replacing and updating.  Pelican Cottage and The Flamingo’s Nest are our one stop shops for furniture, furnishings, decor, art, and more.  We met the owners, Nicki and Darrell, years ago when they were just beginning in this market and they have been amazing to work with.  I would highly recommend them and their store to anyone.  Chem them out…you won’t be disappointed.    Dan

We recently relocated to Englewood from Los Angeles, California and I have to say, I’ve never seen another store like Pelicans and Flamingos.  So. Much. Style! The selection is just right. Beachy and appealing. Hip yet classic. How did they knock it out of the park like this? I’m very excited to have stopped by Pelicans and Flamingos on a whim and now plan to design every single room of my new “Old Florida” house here. The prices are reasonable and the quality is high. There is no reason to shop anywhere else. You gotta check it out. I know I’ve found my store.  And the service is top notch, too!
